TRYHARDER Terms

Version: 6 October 2026

1. The service

TRYHARDER helps players prepare for FACEIT matches through a browser extension (the “Extension”) and companion app (the “App”), together the “Service”. Features include scouts based on earlier matches, match-room information and saved positions shared with teammates.

The Service is provided by Tryharder.gg, Singel 256, 1016 AB Amsterdam, info@tryharder.gg (“we”). TRYHARDER is independent of FACEIT and Valve.

These terms (the “Terms”) apply to the Extension and App. The separate Closed Beta Rules (the “Beta Rules”) apply to the free, invitation-only beta. There is currently no paid plan or subscription.

2. Your account and use

You must be 16 or older and use your own FACEIT account. Keep access to your TRYHARDER account and sessions private.

You may use TRYHARDER to prepare for matches, explore scouts, save positions and coordinate with teammates through the available features.

Do not:

  • bypass access, security or usage limits;
  • access another person's private account data;
  • use unauthorised tools to extract the Service in bulk;
  • sell or republish identifiable player cards or build an unauthorised player database;
  • harass players, misuse shared positions or disrupt the Service.

The Privacy Notice (the “Privacy Notice”) explains how we use personal data.

3. The beta and changes

Scouts summarise previous gameplay and indicate possible tendencies. They may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate and do not guarantee a match outcome. Availability also depends on FACEIT and the available match data.

We may change features to improve the beta, fix faults, maintain security or compatibility, or respond to platform changes or legal requirements. We may also discontinue the beta for technical, capacity or operational reasons.

We give reasonable advance notice of material changes or discontinuation where practicable. Urgent security issues, legal requirements or sudden loss of essential platform access may require immediate action. Where consumer law requires a notice you can save or a right to end the agreement, we provide them.

4. Positions, feedback and restrictions

You retain your rights in your contributions. You allow us to store, process and show them as needed to provide and improve the relevant features.

Positions you save can be shared with your nickname with TRYHARDER teammates on your side in the same room. They can use those positions in their scouts. The Privacy Notice explains sharing and deletion.

You can send feedback through the App, Extension or e-mail. Please leave out passwords and unrelated personal details.

info@tryharder.gg is our contact point for users and authorities, reports about content, and questions about restrictions. We handle communications in English.

We may remove or stop sharing content, restrict a feature, or suspend or end access where necessary and proportionate to address unlawful content, a material or repeated breach of these Terms, security risks or a legal obligation.

For restrictions concerning your content or conduct, we explain the grounds, scope and duration, any automated means used, and the applicable review or redress routes. You can ask for review by e-mail. Urgent action may precede the explanation, subject to legal restrictions on disclosure.

5. Software rights

You receive a personal, non-exclusive right to use the software for your authorised access. Rights in our code, design and other protected work remain with us or the relevant rights holder.

Copying, distributing, modifying or reverse engineering protected software requires permission unless allowed by law or an applicable licence. Third-party rights and licences remain in force.

6. Ending use, liability and disputes

You can stop using TRYHARDER at any time or e-mail us to end your access. Account deletion is a separate option described in the Privacy Notice.

Liability is governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Dutch law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection under the law that would otherwise apply. Complaints can be sent to info@tryharder.gg. Disputes may be brought before the court competent under applicable law.
